Terms
The rules for using JobReels as a candidate or an employer.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Jobreels Ltd (“JobReels”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using JobReels you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use JobReels.
About JobReels
JobReels lets employers and recruitment agencies advertise roles with video, and candidates create profiles and apply with video.
We are a technology platform only. We do not employ candidates, act as an employment agency, take part in hiring decisions, or verify roles or candidate information.
Your account
You must be 18 or over, give accurate and current information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Job listings
Each role is advertised for 30 days or until the employer closes it.
Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and compliance of their roles. We do not guarantee how many people apply, their suitability, or that anyone is hired.
Videos
Only upload videos you own, with the consent of everyone who appears in them. AI-generated videos are not accepted for roles or applications.
You let us store, host and display your content so JobReels works. Employers also let us use and format their role videos to promote JobReels, worldwide and free of charge. We never use candidates’ videos for promotion.
Moderation
We may review, reject, remove or disable any content, or close any role, at our discretion and without notice.
Prohibited content
Do not post anything discriminatory, unlawful, misleading, abusive, harassing or defamatory; anything that breaks employment, equality or data protection law; or anything that harvests people’s information or contacts them off JobReels without consent. Breaking this rule can end your account immediately.
Employers and agencies
You are solely responsible for employment law, right-to-work checks, accurate salaries and role descriptions, equality duties, and anything you agree with candidates. Use applicants’ information only to consider them for the role they applied to.
Candidates
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your profile and videos, and for anything you agree with an employer.
Each application includes an interview video of up to 60 seconds and goes only to that role’s employer. You can withdraw it while it is still being considered. We do not guarantee you a job.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account immediately and without notice if you break these terms, if your use creates legal, reputational or operational risk, or if we stop offering JobReels. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
Privacy
Our privacy notice explains how we use personal information, including videos, and forms part of these terms.
Intellectual property
JobReels’ content, branding, software and design belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or exploit any part of JobReels without our written permission.
Disclaimers and liability
JobReels is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises about uptime, the accuracy of roles, hiring success or how other users behave.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, revenue or data, employment disputes, user content, or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. You agree to indemnify Jobreels Ltd against claims arising from your use of JobReels, your content or your breach of these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version here. Continuing to use JobReels means you accept them. Outside the UK, you are responsible for following local laws.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: ciaran@jobreels.co.uk.
